Galaktion Tabidze was born on November 17 in 1891  in a village Chkvishi, but in  his  autobiographical notes

he  wrote  that date  of  his  birth  was 1892.

His father Vasil Tabidze  died at the  age of 23 ,he was a teacher  in  the  village.

His mother Makrine Adeishvili, came from  village Sapaicho.In  his autobiography Galaktion  says:"My ancestors on my mothers side were related to the  kings  of  AbxaziaShervashidze --- my great grandmother ,was guruli woman,Beridzis mother  was  Shervashidzes daughter.So I am the the owner of three georgian bloods:abxazuli,guruli,imeruli."

His brother Abesalom  (Prokle)  was a teacher.  

In 1899 - Galaktion  enterd  Nestor Khubaneishvilis one year course school  which  was  situated  in  Kutaisi.

In 1900 - he enterd  a Soul academy in Kutaisi

In 1908 - Galaktion continued  his  study at a  soul academy in Tbilisi.His first poems  were published in that year("Mtvare kashkashebs","Shavi grubeli" and so on).

In 1908 - Galaktion published the  journal "Shuki"( " the Light").

From 1909 - Galaktion had dealed with journal "Paskunji"

In 1910 - Galaktion left  Soul academy  because  he  was  shocked by  his  friend's  suicide Kuchu Kavtaradze ( his penname was "Demoni" he  published 

In 1910 - Galaktion begins his career  as  a  teacher in  Xaragaulis area, in    Parcxnala village, when  it closed  he moved to Batumi and there continued his career.

In 1911, june - He  gave up his career and  moved  to  Kutaisi, he  workd  here in  different newspapers: "Kolxidi","Mnatobi","Tanamedrove azri".

His poems  were  read with great admire by : Ak.Cereteli,K.Abashidze,I.Grishashvili,T.Tabidze,Iv.Gomarteli,Al.Abasheli,R.Pancxava(Xomleli),Ak.Papava,I.Imedashvili and so on.

In 1912 - Galaktion took part in a literary competition which  was held  in "Tema" newspaper  and his  poem" Uxilavi" took  the  third prize.

In 1914 - After long time  in  Tutku Gvaramias additions Galaktions first  book  of  poems  was  published  in  Kutaisi.

In 1916 - He married and went  to Moscow with his wife Olga Okudjava.

In 1918 - Galaktion finished director courses, and returnd to his motherland.

In 1919 - His second books  with  poems  is  published "Tavis kala artistuli kvavilebit"( " Artistuli yvavilebi" ).

From 1922 till 1923 -founded his own literary circle 'Galaktion Tabidzis jurnali".

In 1924 -  in journal " Mnatobi" in  the  5-th  was  published Galaktions poem "Mogonebebi im dgeebisa ,roca ielva", where  he  described his  opinion dedicated  to  the  tragedy  which occured in Georgia in 1921-1924.He   was punished  for  that  and  was taken  to Metexi jail, and  all  additions of this  poem  dissappeared.

In 1925 - His 100 poems  were   published  in  journal "Mnatobi".

In 1927 - was published  Galaktion Tabidzes  one  volume  book , which  was  called " Zarnishiani cigni".

In 1927 - one addition  is  published "Galaktion", where were  gathered  his letters and poems , and   one  literary evening was dedicated  to  Galaktion  in  Soxumi  where  he  was  given  &&&&&&&&  with  the  engraving "To  Galaktion --- King of  poets".

In 1927 - A new  literary circle was organized  and  Galaktion was one  of  the partners.

In 1928 - 20  years  passed  since foundation of writers circle.

In 1929 - A Government sent  him  to Armenia.

In 1929 - His wife Olga Okudjava  was sent  to Uzbeketi, where  she had  lived for three years.

In 1932 - He  was proclaimed  as a  poet of Nation  and  was given a Lenin prize.

In 1937 - He  was again  put  in  prison  and  his  wife  was sent there  forever

In 1938 - Was  30 year  of  his  literary career.

In 1941 - 1945-He worked in newspaper "Komunisti" and  published his  poems dedicated  to war.

In 1943 - Galaktion Tabidze  was  50 years  old  and  it was  35 year  of  his  literary career.

In 1959, on March 17- He commited    suicide .He  is  burried on   Mtacminda.

In 2000 - Georgian  Church analized  that  his  suicide  was a  sin , and  this  suicide  was  because  of sufferings  caused by  Georgian  Government...
